Ministries:

Music Ministry:
Danny Holsonback, Director

Music is an integral part of our worship of God.  Our adult choir provides specials and seasonal presentations as well as leading us in our praise and worship portion on Sunday morning.  We have combined the traditional hymns with the praise and worship types of music on Sunday morning to enhance our worship service.   If you enjoy singing, please join us on Sunday evening at 5:15 for choir practice.

Joyful Sounds is the name of our Senior Adult Choir.  This choir travels to area nursing homes four times each month to sing for the residents of these care facilities.  They also provide special music in our worship services.  They are a joy and blessing to all that hear them.

You can reach the music department through email, music@immanuel-baptist.us.

Outreach Music Ministry:
Kelley Murphy is an active member of our church family.  She has a music ministry that includes concerts and sharing her testimony.  Please visit her website for further information.  www.kelleymurphy.org

Parent Project:

The Parent Project is a ten-week parent training program that teaches parents and guardians how to prevent and change destructive adolescent behaviors.  The focus of the training at Immanuel is to build and strengthen the relationship between the parent and child.  Those who have attended the classes will tell you that every parent and guardian can benefit from attending this training.  Classes are provided at no cost.  The classes meet on Wednesday(s) at 6:30 p.m. in the Church Lounge.  For further information, please contact the church office at 803.279.4191 or Jamie Murphy at jamie.murphy@immanuel-baptist.us.

Missions:
At IBC, we have a heart for missions.  Currently, we have two groups for ladies.  One is SICM (Sisters in Christ Missioning) Matthew 28:19-20, led by Kelley Murphy and is designed for women ages 17 to 50 but every age is welcome.  The other group, Women on Mission (WOM) is led by Edith Buchanan and is designed for women 50 and above but again every age is welcome.  You can attend one or the other or both.  Marji Hadden is our Director of Missions and oversees both groups and leds in our mission projects.  SICM meets the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. and the WOM meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.  If you would like more information you can email missions@immanuel-baptist.us.  You can also find us on facebook,

OUR HOPE
Through visiting this website we hope you will have sensed some of the joy and excitement we feel about our church.  We strive to be a place where the whole family can receive encouragement and guidance.  God has blessed us in many ways, and we in turn wish to be a blessing to others.
